“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.” - Carl Sagan
Star Dust
In the grand scheme of cosmic melodies, we are echoes of stardust. This delicate music that took billions of years to choreograph, makes our existence rare. We hold a unique place between the stars and this realization instills a sense of purpose and meaning in our life. Although a tiny speck in the grand scheme, our very existence is a poetic reminder of our place in the universe and everything that holds dear to us.
But then...
But then so are 8 billion other people in the world. Our joys, sorrows, and dreams are ripples against the infinite universe, neither dimming the stars nor shaking the cosmos. Here and here lies the enlightening wisdom- not to compare ourselves with others and feel pity, but to savor our place in the cosmos and live a life of happiness and contentment- one that echoes with the silent music of our being in this Pale Blue Dot.
